Starbuck Recreation Arena Opens 18th Sept

We are pleased to announce that the Starbuck Arena is open and available for rentals of ice. We have a fairly full schedule already but there is some spaces available for rent. For more details email icerentals@starbuckrecreation.com

Current ruling of the province is that all adults entering in to the Arena will need to be double vaccinated with the post two week wait after the second injection. There will be someone checking at the door for vaccination status and please be aware this is not something the Recreation Board has enforced it is a provincial government requirement. Anyone under 18 is required to be accompanied by a vaccinated adult.

Teams playing at the arena may have pre-arranged agreements in place and may not be checked at the entrance. Any questions on this please contact our manager – Manager@StarbuckRecreation.com

We will be posting full COVID19 new regulations shortly on the website we are just updating to the current public health orders.

Public Skate

Public skate is currently not available as we work through setting up the right processes for covering the current COVID19 public health orders that are in place by the province and the board. We will post an update on the website when things are ready and we do plan to do public skate sessions again this year.

Curling Ice

Curling ice is currently on schedule to be installed in November as usual. There is currently work being conducted in the curling lounge as we had some visitors of the Racoon nature over the shutdown which has been resolved but there is some repairs that need to be completed before the lounge can re-open to the public.

Events at the Rink

Right now we are not open to private bookings but as the rules and circumstances changes the board will keep reviewing this. If you want the most up to date information please use our contact us page or email the info@starbuckrecreaction.com

Canteen Service

Due to COVID restrictions in place right now we are only running a limited service and the Canteen itself will not be open. This is also reviewed on a regular basis to see if the current rulings will allow for this to change. More details to follow as we move in to the main part of the season.

Live Barn Streaming

We are working with the vendor of LiveBarn (https://livebarn.com/) on installing camera’s for their private subscription service for streaming games and practices for people that can not be present at the arena over the season. More details to follow as they bring the service online.

We are looking forward to a a great season for 2021/22
