Starbuck Recreation Facilities Are Closed With Immediate Affect Due To COVID-19

Starbuck Recreation Association has been monitoring the recent issues with the outbreak of the COVID-19 virus.

With the recent events over the last few days and with advice from our RM Recreational district as well as the province and federal government we have decided to close all public facilities within Starbuck.

As it is close to end of season for our Ice Arena we will not be re-opening the Arena now until the new season in September. Anyone that has ice booked should contact info@ The plant will be shutdown as of this weekend.

Other facilities will be closed until April 6th when we will review the situation again with the RM and make a further decision if facilities should remain closed or can be re-opened. If anyone had an event booked over this period of time please email starbuckhall@ if it was a hall booking or info@ for any other bookings to re-schedule.

Lastly we are sorry for any incovience this may cause but it is felt that there is a need to discourage gatherings of large numbers at this time anywhere. We would like to point you to the latest provincial information bulletins and how to stay safe by visiting https://www.gov.mb.ca/covid19/

Stay safe and healthy everyone, Starbuck Recreation Association.
